MATT MARCHESE

Two-fisted Jesus Tales arose from a long, and occasionally heated email discourse between the authors regarding the usurping of the whip-toting Jesus of the Gospel accounts with the inoffensive, milquetoast Christ of modern faith.

Alan Scott and Matt Marchese agreed that the Jesus of today needed a hard-boiled makeover. Turning to Mickey Spillane for inspiration, they forged a new Savior in the mold of brutal 50's detective, Mike Hammer: a Jesus who'd just as soon clean your clock as die for your sins.

Occupation: Technical Instructor/Hardware Weenie

Favorite color: Visual Purple

Favorite quote: The value of anything is how much it hurts - Shriekback

Matt Marchese lives in the alternately boiling and freezing timberlands of Northwestern Wisconsin. He is married, gainfully employed, and busy nuturing miniature genetic replicas of himself who will, one day, be released upon an unsuspecting world.
