Two-fisted Jesus Tales
arose from a long, and occasionally
heated email discourse between the authors regarding the
usurping of the whip-toting Jesus of the Gospel accounts
with the inoffensive, milquetoast Christ of modern faith.
Alan Scott and Matt Marchese agreed that the Jesus of today needed a
hard-boiled makeover. Turning to Mickey Spillane for
inspiration, they forged a new Savior in the mold of
brutal 50's detective, Mike Hammer: a Jesus who'd just as
soon clean your clock as die for your sins.

an unsuspecting world.
